Humble Beginnings

Pug Pong was created by Tibetan Monks, and first published in China in 1971. It featured two paddles that bounce a pug back and forth. It proved so popular and addictive that it was quickly banned by the Chinese government, and was never available internationally. All copies of the game were confiscated and buried in a secret landfill in Szenxian Province (later to be joined by the detritus of the failed “Mac & Me” video game). The Atari company read the writing on the wall and moved to capitalize with a generic version of the game (simply titled “Pong”), and thus history was made. But we at Cool Pug Games are proud to present, for the first time, Pug Pong in it’s original form. Enjoy!
